Apps that need to store their own data get a backend without you provisioning anything: a database, file storage, and a place to keep secrets that never reach the browser.
Available on Leo Business and above. Marked Beta in the app.
Database
Ask Leo for what you need and it creates the tables:
The Database section then lets you browse the tables and their rows, so you can check what your app actually wrote without leaving HelloLeo.
Use it for data that belongs to the app itself: form submissions, drafts, approval states, anything that has no business living in your ERP.
Storage
Files uploaded by your app’s users: attachments, photos from the field, signed PDFs. The Storage section browses them like a file tree, plus a key-value store for small values.
This is separate from the Asset Manager, which holds the static assets you upload while building (logos, fonts, images baked into the app).
Secrets
API keys and tokens your app’s backend needs at runtime. Set them in the Cloud section and they stay server-side, never exposed to the browser.
Where it lives
On most projects everything is under Project Settings → Cloud. On newer projects it is split into three sections: Variables, Database and Storage.
