An automation gives an agent a prompt and a schedule. It runs on its own and drops the result into the agent’s conversation.
Available on Leo Business and above. Automation runs consume AI tokens.

Create one

The quickest way is to just ask the agent, in its chat:
It proposes the schedule and what each run will do, and creates it once you confirm. Otherwise, open the agent and go to Automations → New automation. Write the prompt as a standing instruction, not a one-off question. It runs unchanged every time.

What you can see

Every automation shows its last outcome, so a silent failure is impossible to miss: Run now executes it immediately through the same path as the schedule, which is the fastest way to check a new automation before leaving it to run. An automation that keeps failing is disabled automatically, so a broken integration does not burn your AI tokens every hour.

Where results land

The output is a normal assistant message in the agent’s conversation. Open the agent’s chat to read it, or have the prompt push the result somewhere itself, for example “…and send the summary to me on Slack”, if the agent has that integration.

Good candidates

  • A morning recap of what changed in the ERP overnight
  • A weekly stock alert on items below their minimum
  • A daily check that yesterday’s orders were all invoiced
  • An hourly sync check between two systems

Managing them

The Automations tab on the Agents page lists every automation across all your agents, with its schedule and last run. Disable one without deleting it to keep its history.
